Welcome, Adrian
This guide gets you set up on the LeadConnector
mobile app — the phone app you’ll use every day to see new leads, text
and call them, and book appointments for Autos Vega
Ford.
The whole point is speed: when a lead comes in,
you’ll get a notification on your phone and can reply in seconds — even
when you’re on the lot, away from a computer. The dealership’s leads
have been closing low because nobody answers fast enough. You answering
fast is the fix.
You don’t need any technical background. Follow the steps in order.
If a screen looks different from what’s described, stop and message
Andre — don’t guess.
Estimated time: 15–20 minutes.
Part 1 — Accept Your
Invitation
Before the app will work, you need an account. Andre invites you by
email.
Step 1.1 — Find the email
- Open your email inbox.
- Search for “You’re invited to join Autos Vega Ford”
(sender is likely noreply@msgsndr.com or
GoHighLevel).
- If you can’t find it, check your Spam and
Promotions folders. If still nothing, message Andre to
re-send.
Step 1.2 — Set your password
- Open the email and tap the “Accept Invitation” (or
“Set Up Your Account”) button.
- A page opens asking you to set a password.
- Create a strong password (at least 10 characters, mix of
letters/numbers/symbols). Save it somewhere safe —
you’ll need it to log into the app.
- Confirm and tap Sign Up / Create
Account.
Keep this password handy — the next step (the app) asks for it.
Part 2 — Download the
LeadConnector App
Step 2.1 — Install it
- iPhone: Open the App Store, search
“LeadConnector”, and install the app with the blue
icon. (Publisher: HighLevel.)
- Android: Open the Google Play
Store, search “LeadConnector”, and install
it.
The icon is a blue speech-bubble. Make sure it says
LeadConnector — not “HighLevel” or anything else.
Step 2.2 — Log in
- Open the app.
- Enter the same email and password you set up in
Part 1.
- Tap Sign In.
- If it asks which account/location, choose Autos Vega
Ford.
Step 2.3 — Allow
notifications (do not skip)
The app will ask permission to send notifications.
Tap Allow.
This is the most important setting. If notifications are off, you
won’t know a lead came in — and the whole point is to answer fast.
- After logging in, go to the phone’s Settings → Notifications
→ LeadConnector.
- Make sure Allow Notifications,
Sounds, and Banners/Lock Screen are
all ON.
Part 3 — Quick Tour of the
App
Along the bottom of the app you’ll see a few tabs. These are the ones
you’ll use most:
| Tab |
What it’s for |
| Conversations |
Your inbox — every text, email, and Facebook message from every
lead, in one place. This is where you live. |
| Contacts |
The full list of leads and customers. Tap any name to see their
history. |
| Calendar |
Your appointments — test drives, trade-in evaluations, finance
meetings. |
| Opportunities |
The sales pipeline — where each deal sits (New Lead → Working →
Appointment → Sold). |
| Dashboard / More |
Overview and settings. |
Tap through each tab once just to see what’s there. Don’t
change any settings.
Part 4 — Your Daily
Routine (this is the job)
When a new lead comes in
- Your phone buzzes with a notification: “New lead — Autos
Vega Ford.”
- Tap it. It opens the lead in Conversations.
- Reply within 5 minutes. Speed is everything — a
lead answered in the first 5 minutes is far more likely to buy than one
answered an hour later.
How to reply
- In the conversation, you’ll see the lead’s message (or a note about
where they came from).
- Type your reply at the bottom and tap send. By
default it sends a text (SMS) to their phone.
- To call instead, tap the phone
icon at the top of the conversation — it dials through the app
so your personal number stays private and the call is logged.
- To switch between SMS / Email / Facebook, use the
channel selector above the message box (it replies on whatever channel
the lead used).
Book the appointment
When the lead is ready to come in:
- Tap the calendar / “Book Appointment” option inside
the conversation (or go to the Calendar tab).
- Pick the right calendar: Vehicle Sales,
Trade-In, Financing/Leasing, or
Dealership Visit.
- Choose a time, confirm, and save. The lead gets an automatic
confirmation text.
Move the deal forward
- Open the lead and find Opportunities (or the
pipeline stage shown on their card).
- Drag/move them to the right stage as things progress: New
Lead → Working → Appointment Set → Sold.
Keeping the stage updated is how the dealership knows what’s working.
Two seconds per lead.
Part 5 — Good Habits
- Notifications on, sound on. Check the moment your
phone buzzes.
- Reply in the app, not from your personal phone —
that keeps every message logged and lets the team back you up if you’re
busy.
- Always log a call. If you call a lead, the app
records it automatically as long as you dial through the app.
- Don’t delete contacts. If a lead is junk, ask Andre
how to tag it — never delete.
- One conversation per lead. Don’t start new texts
from your personal phone; reply inside the existing thread.

Common Issues & What to Do
“I never got the invite email.” → Check
Spam/Promotions. Still nothing? Message Andre to re-send.
“My password isn’t working.” → On the login screen
tap Forgot Password and follow the reset email.
“I’m not getting notifications.” → Phone
Settings → Notifications → LeadConnector and turn
everything ON. If still nothing, fully close and reopen the app, then
message Andre.
“I can’t find the LeadConnector app / there are
several.” → Install the one published by
HighLevel with the blue speech-bubble icon. Don’t
install look-alikes.
“A lead came in but I can’t see the conversation.” →
Check the Contacts tab and tap their name — the message
thread is there. New leads always show up in Contacts first.
“The call won’t go through from the app.” → Make
sure you allowed Microphone access in phone settings.
If it still fails, call the lead from your phone for now and tell
Andre.
